How Does Your Garden Grow?

This weeks DTBST challenge at
is "How Does Your Garden Grow?"




I couldn't pass up creating a garden wedding scene
using Bella Bride Sassy.

I fussy cut the large roses and added some stickles for 
a little sparkle and placed on a vellum background.
The gate was cut from the Cricut Ornamental Iron
cartridge. I stamped the sentiment and added tiny paper roses.

Best Wishes

It's the 21st of the month and that means a new challenge at

This time we have everyone's favorite theme
"Anything Goes.

I created a wedding card.



 Our sponsor this time around is

Love this sweet bride from the "To Have and Hold" digi.
I used one of my favorite embossing folders from Hot Off the Press
 for the background. I love it because it reminds me of lace.
The image was printed on white card stock, colored with pencil colors
and fussy cut before I added a little stickles.
She was popped with foam dots on the Spellbinders die cuts.
I embellished with some gems, dazzles border stickers,
ribbon and paper roses. The sentiment was stamped.

Use a Sentiment

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers
before fussy cutting. I added stickles for the snow.
The image was popped on the die cut circles.
I stamped the sentiment with red ink, die cut
and accented with a blue gel pen.

For the Boys at SSD

was pretty easy for me using "Handy Sassy in a step card design.

Fur & Paws

Happy Hump Day!

Are you a dog lover?
 I have a fun card I created using the
"Fur & Paws" digital stamp set from



 Three fun sentiments and one digital image included.
This sweet fur friend was printed, colored with markers
and fussy cut before popping on the die cut circles.
The sentiment, banners and border were all die cut
and enamel dots were added for some accent.

I used the Spring Blessings Digital Stamp set from Gracielle Design
and decided to pull out the watercolor paper and pencils.
My border was dry embossed and sanded before adding the pearl border.
I added a little lace and ribbon and accented the butterfly with pearls.
The sentiment was stamped.

Stencil in the Holidays

Hello all!
 I'm back today with a card I created with
the "Stencil in the Holidays" digital stamp set from


 Each image/sentiment comes as a backless png. 
Three beautiful holiday sentiments and four digital images included. 
You will receive the black and white version of the images,
 ALONG WITH TWO RECOLORED IMAGES. 

I used the recolored images for my card.
I printed 3 poinsettias in 2 different sizes, fussy cut
and added stickles to the blooms and smooch ink to the leaves.
The pine cone border was printed, fussy cut and cut in half.
I arranged the digital images on the Sizzix Ornate Plate die cut
and added pine fronds punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
The sentiment was die cut with a Taylored Expressions label die.

MHK Designs

Happy Monday!

Today I am so happy to invite you to check out


MHK Designs is a new digital stamp company 
and features beautiful vintage images, sentiments and papers.

I am so fortunate to be to be part of the team for this new venture
and believe you will love everything that Mynn, the designer,  has to offer.

The team will be highlighting the 10 sets that are available now in the
this week and hope you'll check them out!

I have 2 cards I designed to share with you today.

The first is called "Peace Dove".




I printed the image on white card stock and used my Spectrum Noir
markers to shade around the image. I used a Sizzix circle dies to cut the image
 frame the image. The upper corner treatments were done with
Spellbinders D-Lites dies. The sentiment was cut with a square Sizzix die.
I added some tiny pearls to the image and the corner dies.

The second is called "Serene Seaside".




I printed the image on white card stock and colored with
Spectrum Noir pencil colors before cutting with Sizzix oval dies.
The sentiment was printed on kraft card stock.
The red and shell DP is from Carte Bella "Ahoy There" paper pack.
The star DP is Recollections. I added some mesh and pearls to finish.

Cutting the Cake

I haven't played with my paper dolls for a while 
and decided to pull them out and put something together.


I was quite inspired when I saw the inspiration photo at


I stamped Lorrena from Julie Nutting and
Alex from C Thru the Woods
on white card stock, colored with Spectrum Noir markers
and fussy cut.  I embossed Lorrena's skirt and added some stickles.
I added a veil made with some netting.
MY background DP is from
the Paper Studio Kirby Teesdale Studio paper pack.
I layered a die cut cut with Ornamental Iron Cricut cartridge.
The cake a bouquet are colored digital images from
Deedee's Digis. I created a cake table with some vellum and netting.

I love the way this turned out! Hope you do too!

Keep It the Same

Hello Sassy friends!
It's time for a new DTBST challenge!


Our theme this week is
"Keep It the Same".
So we would like to see your monochromatic projects.

I used "Virgo Portrait" for my birthday card.
She was printed on white card stock and colored with
Spectrum Noir markers and gel pens before fussy cutting.
The back ground was created with an embossing folder
and 3 different colors of green ink.
The frame was cut using Spellbinders dies.
I added some green gems and ribbon.

Frame It

Happy Friday!

I used "Fairy Christmas" and
 created my frame with a couple of square
Sizzix framelits dies and added the holly stickers on the corners.
The image was printed twice and colored with Spectrum Noir markers,
smooch inks, gel pens and stickles.
I fussy the fairy and popped with foam tape and
 added gems to the berries on her wings

This weeks theme for DTBST at
is Anything Goes.


I decided to use one of Lindsay's newest Zodiac images, Leo Portrait.


I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
The rectangle I popped her on was embossed with
a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The DP is from DCWV's Violet Leaf stack.
I stamped the sentiment and cut with a Taylored Expressions die.
The Teresa Collins enamel dots were added as the finishing touch.
